To ban or not to ban, that has been the question among Philadelphia 76ers fans over the past few weeks. The subject of this ban is none other than Kendall Jenner. Jenner was spotted sitting courtside at the Wells Fargo Center, the home of the Philadelphia 76ers, on November 23rd as the Sixers hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers. She has most recently been in the NBA spotlight for her on-and-off fling with Sixers star Point Guard, Ben Simmons. The game ended with a 10 point loss to the Cavs, snapping a 20+ home game win streak, dating back to the end of last season. This certainly enraged Sixers fans to say the least, as they then began taking action.

Since the game, a petition has been posted on Change.org titled “Ban Kendall Jenner From the Wells Fargo Center”. As of November 27th, the petition has over 10,000 signatures. Sixers fans do not want the all too famous ‘career killing’ curse in association with the Kardashian/Jenner Family.

In my opinion, should Kendall Jenner be sitting courtside? No. Should she be sitting next to the Sixers’ bench? Absolutely not. But should she be banned? Truthfully, I haven’t considered this yet. However, this will be the last time Kendall Jenner sits courtside in the spotlight. If Jenner comes to a game, the suite level is perfectly suitable for a celebrity of her caliber. With that said, if her presence causes another abysmal performance against one of the worst teams in the NBA, the ban will be necessary for the well being of all.
