The weekend of April 12, North Texas Oklahoma Region had its arcade-themed Ruach Convention. Teens participated in video game-themed Onegs, with choices like Mario Kart and Fruit Ninja, and meaningful Friday night Shabbat services.

On Saturday morning, participants chose from four different services ranging from traditional to yoga to hiking. Afterward, they were divided into teams based on their chapters and participated in friendly competitions and sports tournaments.

During Chofesh, teens were able to participate in traditional summer camp activities like ziplining and swimming. After dinner, there was a meaningful Havdalah service honoring the victims of October 7th and separates led by the 40th Regional Board. Later that night, there was a silent disco and late-night program for seniors.

On Sunday morning, Ginny Weinstein BBG was announced as the winner of the chapter competitions. NTO held a J-Serve program that supported Family Gateway, an organization helping families affected by homelessness.

At the business meeting, members of the 40th Regional Board gave updates on what they had accomplished so far during their terms and NTO voted to become a spring region, meaning that future regional boards will serve from June to June instead of December to December.
